When Orange Care was first introduced in 2017, it was designed to complement the wildly popular VIP Support Plans but provide more cost certainty for our subscribers. The plan was simple - Orange Care subscribers got 30-minutes of support time per day, per user for $10/month (billed annually), and initial Act! deployments or upgrades were always completed without time restrictions.

Is it any surprise in the past three years, Orange Care usage has doubled that of VIP with an annual renewal rate of 87%, with almost 23% of our eligible customers subscribing to Orange Care.  Last year we also introduced our online support plan renewal system that allowed subscribers to save 10% with their on-time renewals.

2 ORANGECAREVIPTHE TWO MAJOR CHANGES TO ORANGE CARE
As we entered 2021, we once again reviewed how we could provide greater value for our customers, while still delivering the unparalleled support our customers have come to expect. Our decision was simple – provide more value to more people. Here are the changes:

  • Tables4act: effective January 1st, 2021, all new or renewing Orange Care customers will receive a free subscription to Tables4act (a $69.95 annual value per user, per year), the leading custom tables solution for Act! at no additional charge (learn more about custom tables HERE).
  • Orange Care Starter: Includes ALL the perks of the regular Orange Care support plans, but only for less time, which is to say 6-months.
    • Subscribers would still get their initial Act! deployments or upgrades completed without time restrictions.
    • 30-minutes of toll-free support (anywhere in North America) each day, per user, and would cover troubleshooting for Act!, Handheld Contact, and the hundred other add-ons we support.
      • “Support” is defined as phone or email help with troubleshooting error messages occurring with installation, upgrades, application configuration, basic usability and basic functionality
    • Custom Tables would be included as part of their Starter support plan
    • And at the end of the Orange Care Starter term, customers could renew online with an on-time discount of 10%, and convert that plan to a full 12-months for the same cost.
