CRM consulting allowed us to leverage our networking experience to deploy and host our customer's databases, and it wasn't long before we became the dominant Act! reseller in the country - earning the distinction of Act! Master Distributor for Canada and the exclusive Act! hosting provider for Canadians.
Through many business acquisitions, hard work, and a clear vision, Keystroke became the #1 Act! Reseller in the world in 2015, with over fifty Act! consultants employed or under our management, spread North America. Along the way, we also developed our own line of Act! add-on products, specializing in industry verticals like wealth management, mortgage brokers, and tech support, just to name a few.
With our acquisition of Contactik in mid-2016 (the French distributor for Act!), Keystroke was able to offer services in both English and French, and became the chief French technical support resource for Act! in North America. Only a few short months later, Keystroke acquired Handheld Contact, the #1 mobile solution for Act!, which instantly extended our distribution reach across the world.
By mid-2017, we acquired the former #1 Act! reseller in the world, DesignR1, furnishing us with another bevy of add-on products that rounded out one of the largest collections in the world. It was fitting then, that in 2018, Keystroke took over the management of the Act! Add-on Store, boasting the largest collection of addons anywhere.
In 2016 we developed the custom table technology that would later be known as Act! Premium Plus. And in 2021 we acquired all the Act! addon products from TopLine Results, ASDS, and Effective Solutions to round out our portfolio. Today, Keystroke has over one hundred software products.
Keystroke now has offices in Toronto and Kitchener, with almost thirty employees spread across North America, and India. And since a team is only as strong as its people, we'd like to introduce you to some of ours.
The Keystroke Success Team
Karthik joined us in December 2022 to help with customer care. Karthik has a support background, having previously worked with Act! up to late 2021. We wanted customers to engage with people more than phone systems, so now most inbound calls will roll up to Karthik and he'll triage them to technical support, sales, or admin as needed.
He also handles the service inbox and chat requests.
Jason's journey with Keystroke is quite remarkable. In his first tour of duty, he worked with us from the late 90's to 2009, during which time he was our main developer, network engineer, and go-to technical guy. He then left for 14 years to work as a developer and returns now to join a team of developers.
Jason will help with .NET, Web, and general Windows projects, and he has several months of sprints scheduled for him before he's scheduled to start again on February 1st.
