We’re excited to announce that the new Act! Premium Cloud mail merge feature will be officially released in January 2026. This powerful update is designed to leverage the latest email security standards, modernize template management, and improve the way you communicate with your customers.
While the full release is just around the corner, we have two important updates to share in the meantime:
1. Early Adopter Access
Starting today, customers can join our early adopter list and gain access to the new mail merge technology ahead of the official launch. Signing up is simple: just submit your account number and email through our digital form, and we’ll provision your account with the new feature.
Those interested in enrolling should consider the following:
- When someone opts in, they forfeit their use of MS Word for regular mail merging - even if to a file or printer. To b clear, this feature cannot be reversed. Once you are on the Beta, you cannot change your mind and switch back.
- if APC customers make the switch, the desktop users will have to upgrade to v27 to use the same templates
- Currently merging to email and including file attachments is not supported. I think that is about it
- The feature is still in BETA and as such, the User Interface is not completed. Some of the screens do not represent their final appearance

One of our Tier2 agents who have been assigned to deal with this feature will respond accordingly

2. Exclusive Walkthrough Webinar
We’re also hosting an exclusive walkthrough session to showcase the new mail merge capabilities in Act! Premium Cloud. During this event, we’ll:
- Highlight the latest features in detail
- Demonstrate how to convert old templates into the new format
- Share best practices for using the updated mail merge tools effectively

As a bonus, we’ll also cover how to remove bounces from your email campaigns, helping you maintain cleaner lists and improve deliverability.
