Understanding your customers is crucial for any business, which is why we’re so excited about the release of our next Linktivity product – Link2surveys.
Unlike the survey feature in our popular Link2forms, Link2surveys is designed to allow you to build intelligent surveys with decision trees that present questions based on how they answered previous questions.
For instance, if we asked our customers if they used email marketing in their business and they said “no”, we might not want to present subsequent questions on Act! Marketing Automation. Surveys become tailored to each customer, and therefore produce more incisive feedback.
Moreover, in Link2forms the surveys are presented in one page, whereas Link2surveys will ask one question at a time, and guide the user through to completion.
Does the world need another survey program?
Probably not, if that’s all we were offering, but Link2survey will be different than the others in one major way – it will integrate with Act!.
This is how it’ll work:
If an existing contact completes a survey, they’ll be added to the survey group, and all their responses will be written to the Contact history. If a new contact completes a survey, they’ll be added as a contact to the database first, and then added to the survey group and contact history updated.
And all the reporting you’ve come to expect from Link2forms will also be available in Link2surveys, including ranked results, KPI’s, and charts & graphs. You'll be able to assign any Act! user as the survey owner, and generate a normal survey name for publishing, as well as a shortened one with our integrated Link2shrink service.
We expect to submit Link2surveys to beta after Labour Day, with a gold release scheduled for Mid September. Stay tuned for more details.
