Early last month we published a blog on the value of customer portals, so we're particularly proud to announce that we'll be offering Act! users such a service next week in the name of Link2portal.

Integrating a customer portal with your Act!   • Customer-managed passwords that are encrypted in Act!, and have configurable password complexity rules
  • selectable data tables, including Contact and Opportunity tables, as well as any custom tables that are in the user's database
  • internal and external filters to give you full control of which contacts have access, and to what data fields
  • provide customers the option to edit select contact fields, so they can help you update your own database
  • customization features including branding, icons, colors, fonts, and logos, as well as head and footer pages

This is why we're so thrilled to announce next week's release of Link2portal, a new white-labeled online portal service that will allow customers to create portals that read and write data from the Act! database through the Web API.
