Release Notes: APC 26_05

Scheduled for March 12, 2026

The 26_5 update improves usability in the History experience by remembering the size of the Preview drawer after you adjust it. Many users expand the Preview panel to view more details while reviewing records, and Act! Cloud will now retain that preferred size. This small but meaningful improvement reduces repeated resizing and helps create a more consistent, personalized workspace.

We have also made some enhancements to the Mail Merge beta feature, providing customers with the ability to delete their old .adt templates and allowing them to include attachments on email merges as well. 

History Preview Drawer

The History Preview drawer now remembers the last size you set. This will persist across different sessions and is saved separately in each view. These preferences are stored per user, creating a personalized experience for each person working in Act!.

Mail Merge Beta - Delete .adt Templates

When working with the Mail Merge Beta, if you click Write > Template Converter, you will now see a button to Delete ADT templates.

NOTE: This should ONLY be used AFTER you have already converted your templates to the new format. At this point you may decide you no longer need the old .adt templates, and to prevent any chance of converting these again and accidentally overwriting your new templates, you may wish to delete them.

Clicking the button will provide another warning before they are deleted:

Mail Merge Beta - Add Attachments to Email Merges

When performing a Mail Merge via Email, you now have the option to include attachments on the second screen in the wizard:

Highlighted Bug Fixes and Improvements

• Fixed an issue where some users could not successfully connect their Email/Calendar accounts (Nylas).
• Fixed an issue where Calendar events would fail to sync to from Google/MS Calendars if they included a URL for a Teams invitation.
• Fixed an issue where the documents tab sort order was not retained within a session.
• Fixed a number of issues related to the Mail Merge beta.

• SKY-5363: [Task List] Delete, Duplicate, and Reschedule options are enabled in the Actions dropdown when both cleared and uncleared activities are selected together.
• SKY-5364: [Company/Group Criteria] The user gets logged out upon clicking the ‘Edit’ button after opening and closing the ‘Select Query’ modal from the ‘Company/Group Criteria’ modal.

• SKY-5562: BLANK CONTACT -Cannot set properties of null (setting 'readOnly').

• IN-1466: [Mail Merge] The message ‘Email sending error’ is displayed when the user removes the Email address, saves the changes, and then clicks the ‘Test Connection’ button.
• IN-1472: [Mail Merge] An “Object reference error” occurs when the user attempts to perform a Mail Merge (Word or Email) for a selected Group and Company option.
• IN-1477: [Mail Merge] Continuous loader with “Merge in progress” message appears when mail merge is performed using the Current Contact with a lookup applied.
• IN-1507: [Mail Merge] Clicking “Finish” after a successful merge triggers a full page refresh and appears to re-login the application.
• IN-1553: Appcues stopped tracking Advantage usage on Dec 11.
• IN-1554: [Mail Merge] The Template Converter description text says “Please press Next”, even though there is no Next button available.
• IN-1556: Bad path when connecting to Nylas (bad URI redirect constructed to send with Nylas connection request).
• IN-1565: [Mail Merge] The Email Merge document is not being attached to the contact under History, even when the “Attach Document to Contact History” option is selected.
