Since August 7th, several enhancements have been introduced to improve the Project experience, particularly around collaboration, usability, and reporting. The share link feature now allows users to share project details and progress with contacts in real time. This includes refined access controls and improved workflows to ensure secure and flexible sharing.

Share Link Updates:

  • Completed login/logout workflows for both regular users and contacts.
  • Read-only access for contacts to goals, obstacles, and attachments.
  • Read-only and optional write access to the comments page.
  • Restricted contact access to other pages.
  • Granular control to allow/disallow contact access to each section (goals, obstacles, comments, attachments).

Additional Feature Enhancements:

  • Support for multi-currency in the costs section.
  • Option to export comments to PDF for easier sharing and documentation.
  • New import entire project feature to streamline setup, saving time compared to phased imports.
  • Ability to expand or collapse all tasks for better task management.

A new Overview page has also been added, providing visual insights and summaries through widgets and pie charts:

Overview Page Widgets:

  • Overall progress bar.
  • Milestone summary (past and future milestones).
  • Summary of self-assigned tasks and top 10 assigned tasks (for both users and contacts).
  • Task status breakdown by phase and priority.
  • Weekly task load widget.
  • Weekly cost estimation widget.
  • Participant task load widget.
