Symptom:  Having changed your Windows® regional date format, after synchronizing a remote database you find that the regional date format has reverted to the US date format.  Closing and reopening the database you find the dates reset to the correct format.

Cause: The cause of this issue is currently under investigation.
Solution: Performing the following steps on the computer with the remote database will prevent this issue:

    1. Close Sage ACT!

    1. Browse to and open the Sage ACT! installation folder:

        • 32-bit: C:\Program Files\ACT\Act for Windows

        • 64-bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\ACT\Act for Windows

    1. Right click file ActSage.exe.config, select Edit

    1. Search for Installation installedLanguage="en-us"

    1. Change "en-us" to your appropriate regional value (example: "en-ca" for Canada) For a list of regional codes, visit this Microsoft® web page:  Microsoft CultureInfo Class

    1. Save and close the file

    1. Open database, synchronize to test
