Patricia Egen Consulting is a Diamond level Act! partner, and one of the top Act! resellers in North America. Their president, Tony Berastegui, is an excellent business owner and one I've personally got to know quite well over the past couple of years. His mother, Patricia Egen, and I served several terms together on BPAC - the Act! Executive Committee, and became quite close over that time. In fact, I considered Pat one of my closest long-distance friends, so it was especially heartbreaking when she passed away suddenly two years ago.

Anything good rarely comes from such a tragedy, but the friendship I forged with Tony, his wife Angelica, and Pat's husband Don, can certainly be counted as such. Few people outside this circle knew how close Pat and I were, and it was certainly a strong foundation of trust to build a new friendship. I think today's announcement reflects that.

Keystroke and Egen Consulting are pleased to announce a partnership of sorts. Keystroke will be offering Orange Care Support plans to Egen Consulting subscription customers, and we'll pool our resources for all sales and marketing efforts moving forward. Tony has a talented team of support professionals available to serve their customer's training and project needs, but in order to focus on that they cannot also be doing break/fix and setup support. That's where the Keystroke team will come in with our Orange Care offerings.

As for add-ons, both companies boast a great selection of powerful Act! add-on products, and we'll work cooperatively to promote these to our respective customers. We'll also co-market Act! and Act! Marketing Automation promotion to ensure all customers are served as well as possible, and we'll be planning joint webinars, as well.

Keystroke has gratefully worked with other Diamond partners in the past to handle their subcontract support needs, but this is much more of a partnership than we've done before. In fact, Tony hired us at the beginning of 2022 to rebuild their www.EgenConsulting.com website, so we're looking to build on that collaboration further.

It is important to note that this is a support & marketing partnership only, not an acquisition. There will be no changes to these customers' Reseller of Record (ROR), and Egen Consulting will continue to handle all their customer's Act! licensing needs, including managing their renewals and additional license sales. Keystroke will have no access to Act! portal information for these customers.
