Keystroke introduces new mailbox limits

This is to advise all our email customers that effective October 31st, 2008, Keystroke Quality computing will be implementing mailbox size limits. These limits will be 100MB's, which is well in excess of what most of our competitors are offering, but will nevertheless require some email management on the part of our customers. For instance, email users will be expected to manage the amount of mail left in their email account, and will no longer be permitted to indefinitely store all mail on the servers.
As hard disk space is finite, it is not practical to continue installing bigger & bigger hard drives (all of which have to be mirrored for RAID5 fault tolerance), simply to support the practice of our customers never downloading email to their computers.

The Keystroke Webmail service was originally intended to provide our customers alternative access to their email accounts from any computer in the world, but the unintended consequence of our program's power & ease-of-use was that many used it exclusively. This practice was allowed to continue without interruption for 8 years, but sadly the growth of our client list and the increased size of common attachments has made this impossible to continue.

Accordingly, we're requesting all existing email customers review the instructions on our website at the following link, http://www.keystroke.ca/?pid=23, for detailed, step by step guidance for setting up their email accounts. If you've forgotten your password or login information, please email us at ken@keystroke.ca and we'll reply with your account settings.

While our servers will work with any e-mail client software, we currently only support Microsoft Outlook Express and Microsoft Outlook.
